Please read below and call and leave a message with Senator McConnell tonight. It is important that he receive a flood of calls from irate Kentuckians against ObamaCare! ...
Despite polls continuing to show that over 50% of the American people oppose ObamaCare, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has decided to join with Harry Reid in rushing the bill through and getting out of town early on Christmas Eve.
Please let Senator McConnell know that you don’t approve of his wimping out in fighting against ObamaCare and his pledge to do all he could to stop or delay it. Perhaps he may still recover his spine and fight Harry Reid.
You can call Senator McConnell at any (or all) of the numbers at the bottom of this email.
The vote on health care is now expected at 8 am eastern on Thursday.
McConnell has not only worked with Reid to get a vote on health care early in the morning, but he has also agreed to let the Senate vote on temporarily raising the federal debt limit before they leave.
Merry Christmas, Kentucky. And it’s Mitch McConnell pulling the sleigh for the Grinch, Harry Reid.
Instead of caving in to Harry Reid, McConnell can still insist the Senate act responsibly by presenting a final bill that the American people would have plenty of time to read and comment on since it will so dramatically affect their lives.
McConnell can still clearly state his intention to fight to the last minute to protect the American people from being railroaded by yet another big government bureaucratic nightmare.
The Senate Minority Leader can still loudly proclaim that such a crucial issue as health care deserves more attention than being rushed through Congress to meet some arbitrary deadline.
But I guess it is easier to play politics as usual.
We know what Mitch McConnell thinks. Now he needs to hear from us.
