Fixed up an old shot gun that was in the garage.

I had an old JC higgins model 20 that was pretty rusty. It needed a stock and I have been wanting a pistol grip shotgun for the TJ so I modified a Mossberg pistol grip and blasted the rust off the gun and parkerized it. My Blast cabinet is so small I had to stick the barrel out the left glove hole to get the receiver. I have only been doing handgun work so I had to break out the 40" tank to finish this one. I even had to wait till the wife left so I could use her stove. Turned out great but I wish I had taken before shots to compare.

That would make an awesome Short Barreled Shotgun!

I am going to try it out Thursday. Then I am going to make a rack to mount it to the roll bar in my Jeep TJ. I think I will try to make a side saddle type shell holder out of Kydex just to see if I can.

Yes it would. When I think SBS I have always wanted an Ithaca Stakeout gun. Just because you can hold the trigger and pump it dry.
